High Court Registry Office
The High Court Registry consists of two divisions, the Civil High Court Registry Division and the Criminal High Court Registry Division.
Civil High Court Registration Division
Responsible for regulating the registration of Civil cases in the High Court and approving draft orders/judgments as well as orders/judgments for High Court cases. Apart from that, this section also regulates the course of Civil cases registered in the High Court as well as implements instructions from the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court from time to time. This division also manages the preparation of global and monthly statistics of the Johor Bahru Civil High Court.
Criminal High Court Registry Division
Responsible for regulating the registration of Criminal cases in the High Court and approving draft Orders/Judgments as well as Orders/Judgments for High Court cases. Apart from that, this section also regulates the course of criminal cases and appoints lawyers to appoint Courts, appoint Courts for Accused Persons (OKT) with charges that lead to the mandatory death penalty as per Practice Directive No. 1 of 2017. In addition, this section is also involved in regulating the registration of appeal cases from the Lower Court and managing the preparation of global and monthly statistics of the Johor Bahru Criminal High Court as well as implementing instructions from the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court.
